We are pleased to announce the 2010 FotoVisura Grants—focused on providing economical support and creative guidance to amateur, professional, and student photographers seeking to continue developing personal work.
The deadline for the 2010 FotoVisura Grant has been changed to Monday, November 1st at 12:00pm EST—due to significant feedback requesting more time for both students and photographers finishing projects over the summer months.
Applicable for projects not initiated by an assignment or commission, this year’s Grant has two categories:
• The FotoVisura Grant for Outstanding Personal Photography Project
First prize: $2,000.00 + Prizes
• The Spotlight Grant for Outstanding Student Photography Project
First prize: $1,000.00 + Prizes

FotoVisura is a tool to publish online and share. At its core the site combines photo sharing with a social network to create, distribute and collect photography albums and creative work.
How it works. Upload image/video/audio files into an Album, add text, then make connections with other users. Once connected they will receive your albums and you will receive theirs.
