FotoVisura is an online toolbox that artists and photographers can use to publish, share and promote their work through images, video, audio, and text. FotoVisura facilitates self-publishing your work online by broadcasting it to your network of contacts, as well as displaying it in the public archive; members can also submit their work to the FotoVisura Grant, Visura's Your View gallery as well as Visura Spotlight.

The project is also a library and search engine for editors, curators, collectors and lovers of art and photography.

For more information on how to use FotoVisura, checkout the site overview and join the email list here.

Our Mission

Our goal is to slowly build and strengthen the infrastructure of the photography realm to increase job availability, opportunity, and communication. Through FotoVisura, editors can search for work; photographers can build their own networks and create their own businesses that can be sustainable in an international community. As of now, less than 5% of photographers make a living in photography. Our mission is to stimulate and increase this percentage one day at a time. In doing so, we bring together all the tools and individuals within the community who share this vision. This is a full circle, all the parts are indispensable to meet the goal, so we thank you for being a part of this movement.

Collectively we are expanding minds. When I view the world through photography, I become a better individual. I learn about faraway people and places, reminding me that the world is vast and beyond my immediate understanding. I hope that through the personal projects found in FotoVisura, this platform inspires tolerance, respect and awareness; and brings oportunities to those who devote themselves to this sharing.
